We are now running a health check on patients that are seven or older. The reasoning behind this is to try and pick up on conditions early so that they can be addressed as quickly as possible by way of diets or treatment if necessary. The assessment usually takes half a day to do, we run a thorough blood test to check the functions of the vital organs. We also do a full health check to make sure your pets eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, gums, coat and skin, are in a good condition. We also do a blood pressure check and a urine test. The whole assessment includes all investigations and a full consultation with the vet for £49.99.

As you may be aware from the last newsletter Claire, one of our nurses, got married to Richard on the 26th July. Everything went perfectly apart from the weather which could have been a bit better! Nevertheless it was a great day. They got married in a little village called Waldron, nr. Heathfield and had a big reception in a marquee, which everyone enjoyed judging by how much drink was consumed! They enjoyed a two week honeymoon, the first week being spent in Sorrento, Italy and the second in Sardinia. We wish them all the best for their future together.
