The new surgery has given us the space and flexibility to be able to practice veterinary care to a very high standard. We have invested in a piped anaesthetic gas system which enables us to have oxygen and nitrous oxide on tap in both the operating room and x-ray room.

We have a fully equiped lab for routine blood tests but also for emergency work; this enables us to provide blood profiles within 15 minutes which can often be life saving.

There are two x-ray machines for in house and portable use. We also have an ultrasonic scanner for fertility work, large and small animals, scanning tendons in horses, and small animal cardiology.

Recently we purchased a dental unit which has greatly improved our efficiency, enabling us to shorten the anaesthetics necessary which is a great help as many of the animals needing dental care are elderly.

Nicky Taylor, one of our vets, is using acupuncture which often compliments conventional therapies and can enable us to reduce our use of drugs.

We are happy to give a guided tour of the clinic and welcome your comments.
