At Badgers Oak we all have pets ourselves, and know only too well how hard it can be to say goodbye to a beloved companion. When you and your family feel the time has come for your pet, we hope you will find us compassionate, caring and understanding.  Our priority is to ensure the minimum of stress to both owner and animal at this difficult time.

You can contact us by phone to arrange an appointment at the surgery or a home visit with one of our vets, whichever you feel is best for you and your pet.  If you have any questions about the procedure, please do not hesitate to ask.

Many people ask us what happens after we have put a pet to sleep. Again it is entirely up to you as the owner. Some people choose to bury their pets at home.  Alternatively, we can arrange cremation with David Funnell’s Cherry Tree Pet Crematorium in High Halden. If your pet is cremated you have the option, if you wish, of individual cremation with return of ashes to the practice. The ashes can be returned in a scatter box, or in a sealed wooden casket.  For further information about these options, including fees, please speak to a member of staff.
